Web Design Project
For this project, you will be doing your own reporting and newsgathering, and then laying out the story in an html template. We will compile the stories into our own zine, Bobcat Living. You will be assigned one beat (life, sports, tech). Conduct interviews, take photos, and write the story.
Select 1-2 of your best photos, and use them in the layout of your story in the Bobcat Living template. Use external links when appropriate, either within the story or as a list of resources.
Be sure to take many photos. Make notes about them for use in captions. We will use these later for a slideshow project.
Create a new folder and download the following files to it (use ctrl click, Save Link As):
temp.html (template for story)
style2.css (stylesheet)
logo.jpg (logo)
When you complete your layout, rename temp.html to lastname.html (using your own last name). You will be instructed how to upload the file.
